Checked Baggage

Each traveler can check up to 4 bags (2 free and 2 at $20 per bag).

• Size/weight limitations apply: each bag must not exceed 50 lbs (23 kg) and 28 x 22 x 14 inches (Pacific Surfliner: up to 28 x 22 x 11 inches).

Carry-On Items

Each traveler may bring 1 personal and 2 carry-on items.

• Size/weight limitations apply: each carry-on item must not exceed 50 lbs (23 kg) and 28 x 22 x 14 inches (Pacific Surfliner: up to 28 x 22 x 11 inches).
• Passengers must be able to safely lift carry-on items over their heads onto the luggage shelf.

Prohibited Items

For the safety and security of our passengers and employees, AmtrackBooking prohibits certain items onboard trains and in checked bags.

Special Items

Baggage over normal size restrictions or requiring special handling (baby items, bikes, sporting equipment, firearms, etc.) may be subject to additional packing requirements and service fees.
